Our Harcourt Trophies Reading Program emphasizes both phonics and meaning based reading instruction. There are five main books with 34 weeks of spelling and supplementary reading materials.

Our Envisions math series incorporates both technology and “hands on” use of manipulative math experiences. There are 20 topics which you will see throughout the year. We follow National Core curriculum Standards in Reading and Math.

Social Studies, Science, Art, PE, music and movement are often highlights of our year. We venture out into the world through various standards based field trips. Parent Participation is welcomed and encouraged at home and at school. Research proves parent participation and involvement is a key factor in your individual child’s success. Ask your teacher what you can to support your child’s learning. We greatly appreciate all home support because you are the children’s real teachers… and you do an amazing job!
